It should be noted that the photo contest is held from November 2018 to March 2019 in five stages owing to the initiative of the vice-rector for scientific, pedagogical and educational work of Oleksandr Hura and the support of the Department of Pre-university training, Career guidance and Employment of ZNU. Representatives of the Department expressed gratitude for the support of the project to rector of ZNU Mykola Frolov, vice-rector Serhii Kushnir, director of the Center of Culture Yuliia Yanko and others.

On February 19, a new multimedia audience opened at the Faculty of Foreign Philology (2 academic building, audience 326) as part of the grant project “European Values in Literary Arts”.

Recently, representatives of the Department of Romance Philology and Translation have organized a videoconference with the University of Du Maine (France), which has been fruitfully cooperating with Zaporizhzhia National University for many years.

Recently, a team of Zaporizhzhia National University has made a week-long working visit to the UK, where participated in a conference of a three-year project on the Erasmus+ KA2 DESTIN program at the Bath Spa University.

Recently, the masters of the Faculty of Biology of ZNU have been awarded diplomas in a solemn atmosphere. On this day, almost 140 masters biologists received diplomas, 17 of them were with honors. It is worth noting that some of the graduate students received two diplomas at once, as they were studying in different specialties at the same time in full-time and part-time departments.

For the first time in the history of the university, 170 thousand UAH will be spent on projects specifically for the winners of the university-wide competition for improving the image policy of faculties. These are the first results of the practice of internal grants of the university which were set up by the rector Mykola Frolov.

In accordance with the order of the rector, from February 15 to March 10, 2019, the rating assessment of the scientific and pedagogical workers of ZNU is conducted based on the results of work in the 2018 calendar year.  Participation in the rating is mandatory for all full-time academic staff of the university (excluding the rector, vice-rectors, deans, employees of the Engineering Institute).

Zaporizhzhia National University entered the ranking of the best higher educational institutions of Ukraine and, in accordance with the Order of the Ministry of Education and Science of Ukraine of 06.11.2018 p. № 1213, received open access to the world scientometric databases Scopus and Web of Science.

Celebration on the occasion of the awarding of diplomas to the master students was held on February 15 at the Faculty of Philology. In total, 75 people received a diploma on this day, 19 of them were diplomas with honors.

On February 15, a gala evening was held on the occasion of awarding diplomas to graduates-masters of the history department of Zaporizhzhia National University. Thirty masters of full-time and part-time education received documents of higher education, 10 of them received diplomas with honors.
