Ecological action on Khortytsya-island was organized by ZNU Faculty of Biology within the celebration of Environment Day.

On April 14 the results of “University As We See It” photo-contest were announced.

On April 13 in lecture hall 50 of ZNU building I students of the Faculty of Journalism presented the official report on their trip to Pryp’yat’ and Chornobyl’, dated to 20th anniversary of ChAPP tragedy.

ZNU Faculty of Biology was celebrating its 19th anniversary in rather an original way.

Several faculties of ZNU held their open days on April 9, namely the faculties of Foreign Languages, Management, Physical Training, History and of Social Pedagogy and Psychology.

On April 7-9 Zaporizhzhya National University was hosting Regional Congress of European Student Forum (AEGEE), the largest unspecialized student organization in Europe. ZNU Student Council was the co-organizer of the event.

VII inter-regional specialized exhibition of educational establishments and programs “Entrant-2006” is held on April 6-9 in the exposition hall of Zaporizhzhya Chamber of Commerce and Industry (ZCCI). Zaporizhzhya National University is among the participants.

On April 2 ZNU was hosting the “What? Where? When?” rating tournament round within the 8th International Synchronous Championship ”Cities Cup”.

The meeting, dated to outstanding Ukrainian writer Oles’ Gonchar’s 98th anniversary was held in ZNU.
