ZNU veteran Arkadiy Stepanovich BROVKO, specialist in Russian philology, author of more than 100 publications in lingvo-stylistics, phraseology and on alternative syntax problem is celebrating his 80th birthday!
Students from non-linguistic faculties of ZNU took part in Round 1 of All-Ukrainian Student Foreign Languages Contest held in March. It included two languages – French and German – and consisted of an auding, reviewing authentic text, writing an essay and an interview with contest jury.
Initiative group, aimed at collecting journalistic facts on “Chornobyl’” subject, was organized at the Faculty of Journalism of ZNU under the direction of Assistant Professor Viktor KOSTYUK, faculty’s vice-dean and Head of the Chair of Journalistic Work. 12 students are actively working in this direction.
The competitive selection of the most deserving students of the faculties of Management, Foreign Languages and Economics for taking 4-week course in Master program “International Marketing” was held in ZNU in the presence of Christian Garde, representative of Baden-Wurttemberg (Rautlengen, Germany).
“Zaporizhzhya National University: The Past And The Present (1930-2005)” was published by “Dyke Pole” publishing house on the occasion of ZNU’s 75th anniversary.
Ceremonial rewarding of the winners and holiday concert were held within the celebration of Zaporizhzhya Region branch of Youth Academy of Sciences of Ukraine’s 15th anniversary.
Alteration of Collective Agreement, ZNU Labor Regulations and Articles of ZNU were discussed on March 29 at the conference of work collective of Zaporizhzhya National University.
University lecturers were rewarded with honorary diplomas of Ministry of Education and Science of Ukraine and breastplates at ZNU administration’s grand meeting on the occasion of university’s 75th anniversary. Some of them also received the rank of “Honorary Teacher”.
Grand meeting of International Relations Department leaders with foreign students of our university was dated to 75th anniversary of ZNU.
Ian Boag, Ambassador of European Commission, visited ZNU. He met with lecturers and students of our university and was among the first who saw the exposition of renewed Museum of ZNU – the first record in Book of Opinions was made by his hand.
