Within the part of the Year of children's art, proclaimed by the President of Ukraine in Zaporizhzhya held a gala concert of XXII Regional Festival of pop art "Zorepad". Organizers of the festival - Department of Education and Science, Youth and Sport Regional State Administration and KU "Zaporizhzhya regional center of youth".

October 25 on the basis of Zaporizhzhya National University and National Park "Khortytsya" held National Scientific Conference "Fifth Novytskyj matinee" conference, which was organized by Zaporizhzhya scientific society of J.P. Novytskyj (Chairman, Ph.D. in History, associate professor of the Department of Source Studies, Historiography and Special Historical Courses Sergiy Bilivnenko), Faculty of History of Zaporizhzhya National University (Dean, Ph.D. in History, associate professor Viktor Tkachenko), Eastern Kowalsky Institute of Ukrainian Studies (head D.Sc. in History, professor of the Department of Source Studies, Historiography and Special Historical Courses of ZNU Volodymyr Milchev) and M.S. Grushevsky Ukrainian Institute of Archeology and Source Studies of National Academy of Sciences Ukraine, Institute of Oral History of ZNU and Ukrainian Institute of National Memory.

On October 26, in a sports and recreation complex of Zaporizhzhya National University held a charity tournament on mini football, whose goal was to raise funds to help the student of Economics and Law College of our University Bogdan Zinchenko. Event was organized by the center of cultural and mass work of ZNU.

Today, 28 October, Zaporizhzhya National University awarding the winners of the annual Photo Contest «International impressions». Event was organized by Department of International Relations and work with foreign students.

21-23 October at the exhibition center "KievExpoPlaza" (Kyiv) held the IVth All-Ukrainian biological Forum of pupils and students "Touch of Nature". The event was organized by the National ecological center for students and Kyiv National Taras Shevchenko University, attended by over 200 young researchers from all regions of Ukraine. Among them - the students of biological faculty of Zaporizhzhya National University Yuliya Zhelyabina (Section "Medicine") and Mariya Topchiy (section "Ecology and environmental problems"). The results of the forum, both representatives of our university received certificates for 3rd place and Diplomas of participants.

Today in ZNU began traditional flashmob contest among freshmen "Dance flashmob". Its organizer - Center of cultural and mass work of ZNU.

October 25-26 at the Faculty of Journalism of Zaporizhzhya National University held II All-Ukrainian Media Festival, organized by the Students Council of ZNU and leadership of the Faculty of Journalism with the support of the Rector of ZNU Mykola Frolov.

Representatives of Scientific Community of Students and Postgraduates of the Faculty of Economics of ZNU supported by the Dean's office held a traditional game "What? Where? When?" for high school students in Zaporizhzhya. The event was held within the vocational guidance of faculty in order to enhance the interest of schoolchildren to economics and to encourage future entrants.

Today completed the VIII International scientific-practical conference "Transformation processes in the state economy and regions", which took place at the Faculty of Economics of ZNU in two days. As the result, 27 conference participants were awarded by certificates.
