Single entrance exam of foreign language (English) for students who desire to enroll on master’s degree was held 11 July in Zaporizhzhia national university. There were already 2 testing points on the base of the second academicals building. 359 people passed the examination and among them were the graduates of the Bachelor’s degree of the university.

Single entrance exam (SEE) for students who are going to obtain the degree of "Master" in the specialty "Law" 081 was held 13 July in ZNU.

The Ukrainian rowing championships was held 6-8 July in the city of Dnipro. The sportsmen from Zaporizhzhia succeeded to become the champions in the three classes.

There are a lot of universities in Ukraine with the history of a few centuries. The online portal IGotoWorld.com made a compilation of the Ukrainian universities, that impress with their beauty. ZNU also got in the rating of the 12 beautiful universities in Ukraine.

The representative of the Faculty of History of Zaporizhzhia national university took part in the important event: the international scientific seminar “Urbanist studios in Ukraine: pressing issues" was held on the Faculty of History of V. N. Karazin Kharkiv National University.

III International scientific and practice conference “The libraries of the higher education institutions: experience and perspectives” was held  4-6 July 2018 on the base of the Scientific library of Odessa national university by I.I. Mechnikov. The supporters for this conference were Ministry of Education and Science in Ukraine, Science library by M. Maximovich of Kyiv national university by Taras Shevchenko, Scientific library of Odessa national university by I.I. Mechnikov, Ukrainian library association, and Electronic library of Ukraine «ELibUKR». 

On an exceptional basis Ministry of Education and Science in Ukraine let the managers of the colleges and technical schools, which accept students after the ninth grade to give the entrants the permission for admission the documents with the presence of the certificate of birth.

A few days ago, International MAG Convention “The Image of the Self” was held in the Ukrainian Catholic University in the city of Lviv where 490 people were present from more than 20 countries of the world.

Recently, the student of ZNU Liudmyla Babak, master of sports of Ukraine of international class of rowing and canoeing won once again on 2018 ECA Canoe Marathon European Championships, which took place in the city of Metkovich (Croatia) from 5 till 8 July.

Recently, the festive event on the occasion of the 25-year of work of German cultural centre Goethe-Institute has happened in Kiev. It has to be pointed out that the office of the Goethe-Institute functions during a few years in ZNU and Yuliia Romanenko is in the charge of this department. That is why the delegates of the university with vice-rector for scientific work Hennadii Vasylchuk have visited this quite important for Ukrainian culture and education event.
