Discussion of Current Problems in Modern Life Physical Education, Sport and Tourism at ZNU
IV International Conference gathered scientists and teachers from the different regions of Ukraine and neighboring countries within the walls of Zaporizhzhya National University. The conference was opened by Sc.D., professor, ZNU dean of the Faculty of Physical Education Volodymir Malikov. Awarding the Winners of the University Basketball Spartakiada at the Faculty of Economics
September 31, the festive line-up dedicated to the first-year students took place within the Faculty of Economics at ZNU (5-th educational building).
After the welcoming speech and aquantance with the deans and lecturers of the Faculty of Economy, Aleksey Melnikov, Ilya Sergunov, Maksim Zubko, Bogdan Semenov, Artem Zelensky, Egor Ishenko and Denis Chirchenko were invited to be awarded for the first place at the University Basketball Spartakiada 2011-2012.
The dean of the Faculty of Economics, professor Alla Cherep congratulated the faculty's team on the competitions victory and handed the cup wishing future victories.

ZNU Student Won the Silver Medal at European Rowing Championships
ZNU student of the Faculty of Physical Education, International Distinguished Master of Sport Alexander Nadtoka took silver as a member of four's men crew. From 14th till 16th September the 2012 European Rowing Championships has been taking place in the Italian city of Varese. 448 athletes from 36 countries participated in this European regatta. Ukrainian team was represented in almost all disciplines of this sport.

Participants of the Exhibition "ENERGIA 2012" are Interested in Cooperation with ZNU
Representatives of Zaporizhzhya National University participated in the IX specialized exhibition of energy technologies, industrial electronics and electrical engineering, «ENERGIA 2012», which is held in the exhibition hall «Kozak-Palace». Dmitry Tabachnik Thanked ZNU Rector for Bringing Up Olympic Champions
The Ministry of Education, Science Youth and Sports of Ukraine has sent a congratulatory letter to the rector of Zaporizhzhya National University Nikolai Frolov. He noted that the Ministry of Education, Science Youth and Sports of Ukraine is proud of our graduate's achievements, in particular, Aleksander Usik (a gold medal in boxing) and Olesya Povh (bronze medal in athletics). They praised Ukraine at XXX Olympic Games in London 2012.

Festive sports marathon at ZNU, dedicated to the Day of Physical Education and Sports continued the team sports — indoor soccer and basketball. Teams competed very hard. The hall was full of fans.
