The admission campaign 2018 for students who want to enter the college after the ninth grade (secondary general education) and those who have already got education qualification level of the qualified worker and plan to enter on the second year of the college (within the vacant seats of licensed amount) for getting EQL has started in the College of Commerce on July 2. During the first day, the employees of the admission board have accepted more than 30 applications of the future students of the college. 

Admission board for students who enroll on senior year and on Master’s degree has started its work in ZNU on July 2. Oleksandr Oliinyk is the head of the admission board. During the first day, 35 students turned to it in order to get some help.

The registration of online offices in Ukraine has opened on July 2 and the enrollees would have a possibility to apply for the Ukrainian universities. It should be mentioned that the Consultation centre of the admission committee of ZNU can help you with the filling of the application forms. In this year a student has to calculate his average point by himself. If the average point is mentioned in the attachment to the certificate you should recalculate it to make sure it is right.

Election committee has started its work in the College of Economics and Law of ZNU on July 2. Young people who desire to enter the college after the 9th grade have begun to submit their applications. For example, by 12pm enrollees have submitted more than 40 applications.

Oleg Pelipenko, a 4th year student at ZNU Faculty of Law, became a finalist of the All-Ukrainian Competition for Gifted Youth with an active civic position "The State Creator". Thanks to this competition, organized by the USID Foundation with the support of the Ministry of Youth and Sport of Ukraine and the Leadership Academy, 100 best participants from all regions of our country were given an opportunity to take internships in central executive bodies and listen to lectures from well-known politicians and public figures.

Recently, deputy dean of the Biological Faculty for International Work, Senior Lecturer in the Department of Landscape Gardening and Genetics Olena Boika took part in the international scientific conference "Plant Biology Europe-2018" recently held in Copenhagen (Denmark).

From the 25th till the 30th of June, the IX International Summer School for Social Sciences, organized by the Department of Ukrainian Studies of the University of Ottawa (Canada), the Institute of Social and Political Sciences (University of Nanterre Paris, France), the Slavonic Center, is taking place at the Faculty of Sociology and Management of the Zaporizhzhya National University. (University of Paris and the Pantheon of Sorbonne, France), LabEx Research Center "Writing a New History of Europe" (France), Mark Blok Center (Berlin, Germany) with the support of the French Embassy and the ZNU Rectorate.

Recently, deputy dean of the Biological Faculty for International Work, Senior Lecturer in the Department of Landscape Gardening and Genetics Olena Boyka returned from Erasmus + program in Romania at the University of Pitesti.

At the end of last week, the presentation of software for quality control of scientific works and implementation of the principles of academic integrity – "Unicheck" was held at ZNU. Now ZNU has joined universities that have signed agreements with the developers of this software product. At present, according to the laws of Ukraine "On Education", "On Higher Education", "On Copyright and Related Rights" at the University considerable attention is paid to the formation of a system for preventing and detecting academic plagiarism at all levels of the educational process, which also applies to qualification papers, dissertation researches, scientific articles, etc.
