On March 17th in the exhibition hall Cossack Palace within the XVII Special Exhibition of the Building Materials and Technologies there was hold the Interregional scientific and practical conference "Effective Resources Management". The conference organizers were the Management Department of the Zaporizhzhya National University and Zaporizhzhya Chamber of Commerce.
Now alcohol drinking and smoking are not only harmful for your health, but also for your pockets. The new state law was adopted at the beginning of the year: the drinking and smoking in the public places (including school campuses) are prohibited. The law violation will cost you the fine from 17 to 85 hryvnyas.
This week another academic group graduated from the ZNU's Center of Intensive Foreign Languages Learning. The students were studying the Italian language during the standard course of 3,5 months (8 academic hours per week). All graduates received the certificates. 
Before Easter Holidays the Chair of Ukrainian Studies founded the master classes of the pysankas' (Ukrainian Easter Eggs) decorating devoted to the Chair's 20th anniversary and the 80th anniversary of ZNU. The Pysanka Decorating studio will work from March 23rd till March 25th in the 2nd building of the University.
Last Sunday the future students had the possibility to get the closer look at the University, its departments and specialties, to get more information about the entering campaign of 2010. 
Over the past six years according to the Ministry's of Education and Science of Ukraine statistics there were thirteen deaths at the physical training lessons. Only one of them was connected with the trauma. Official death reasons were named as the cardiovascular collapse. In 2008 the new normative was adopted. According to it the cross, grenade throwing, and jumps over the vaulting horse were cancelled totally. 
On March 28th, April 18th and 25th Zaporizhzhya National University will hold the free trial testing in all disciplines of State External Independent Evaluation. The schools graduates will have the possibility to evaluate their levels of preparation to the testing and experience the atmosphere of the test passing. They will also be able to get the psychologist's advice and get to know how to fill the application documents.
