Special congratulations on the Linguist’s Day to linguistic community of Zaporizhzhya National University

May 17-19, Yalta, 3^rd Sports Games of Ukraine in track and field were carried out among HEIs of 3-4 accreditation level.

May, 23 ZNU Museum hosted the event dedicated to the Bulgarian language, culture and Slavic written language, which welcomed Bulgarian communities’ representatives from Zaporizhzhya region.  

May, 17 the following workshop was held for teachers of Biology, Chemistry and Ecology from Zaporizhzhya region.

May, 19 alumni from the Faculty of Pedagogics, major: Pedagogics and Psychology (Pre-school), 1976, gathered together at ZNU. Having studied 36 years ago at then Zaporizhzhya State Pedagogic Institute they met their University mates for the first time after graduation.

In accordance with the President of Ukraine’s Decree №329/2012 on ‘Conferring National Awards of Ukraine in Science and Engineering 2011’ two professors from Zaporizhzhya National University have been honoured.

Kyiv, the 5^th Youth Forum of ‘Zavtra.UA’ Scholarship Programme closed, having gathered over 300 students-winners in the National ‘Zavtra.UA’ 2012 Scholarship Programme. The winners have been selected after results of three stages, with participation of 1859 candidates from over 100 HEIs (4^thaccreditation level) across all the regions of Ukraine. Among the winners were also students from ZNU Faculty of Social Pedagogics and Psychology Svitlana Firsova and Ulyana Dyachenko.

May, 17 Science Day was celebrated in ZNU, summarizing attainments in scientific field in 2011/2012 along with award ceremony to honour scholars that fuel scientific capacity growth in our University.

Within the framework of ‘Europe’s Days in Ukraine’ celebration, ZNU International Relations Office jointly with Department for Family and Youth Affairs under Municipal Council held round table discussion on “European Experience in the hands of Ukrainian Youth”.
