For the third consecutive year, master students of the Law Faculty of Zaporizhzhia National University have the opportunity to defend their qualification works in a foreign language. This year, 7 full-time and part-time students of specialties 081 “Law” and 262 “Law Enforcement” were able to demonstrate to the members of the examination commission, as well as to all those present, not only a high level of their professional training, but also English, in particular, professional.

Zaporizhzhia National University announces admission to graduate school for the degree of Doctor of Philosophy (PhD). Enrollment will begin from March 1, 2019.

Since January, the University’s consulting and registration center began its work in ZNU, which exists for a year and provides organizational and consulting assistance to applicants in preparing and passing the EIT.

Zaporizhzhia National University announces the admission for the intensive preparation for successful passing of the EIT. Courses start on 1st Feb 2019. The course is designed for 3 months of intensive training for EIT for such subjects as Ukrainian language and literature, English language, mathematics and history.

The staff of the Center for Intensive Study of Foreign Languages of ZNU expands the range of services for those who want to learn new languages or improve their language skills. On the basis of ZNU will begin courses on the study of the Polish language which will take place on January 12.  They are designed for both students and applicants and those who have already received a higher education and are working today.  Representatives of the university took care of drawing up a class schedule, convenient for all who wish to improve their language skills.

Today, on January 14, 2019, registration for free trial training of EIT-2019, which takes place annually at the base of the university, began in Zaporizhzhia National University. As part of the implementation of the international project “Quick Start for Ukraine”, a delegation visited Magdeburg (Germany), organized by the Zaporizhzhia City Council and the Magdeburg Municipality.  The delegation from Ukraine included representatives of higher educational institutions of the city and Zaporizhzhia city council. The Engineering Institute of ZNU was represented by the Head of the Laboratory of Energy Efficient Technologies of the Department of Thermal Power and Hydropower Serhii Ilin.

Every year, the Ministry of Education and Science of Ukraine announces a competitive selection of scientific and technical (experimental) development by the state order, the implementation of which is carried out at the expense of the state budget. Projects in priority areas for the development of science and technology are submitted to the competition.

Last year was very fruitful for the Faculty of Journalism of ZNU as two powerful journalistic projects of Zaporizhzhia National University with the support of the US Embassy in Ukraine, started in 2018 and will continue in the new 2019. The first is the annual cycle of weekly “Unconditional” radio programs devoted to topics and people who are poorly represented in the mainstream media. The second is the Bureau of analytical and investigative journalism”, which is working to create high-quality media texts on conflict-sensitive topics.
