External Independent Evaluation is underway with its next stage – test in Russian language.

The conference lasted for three days, where the first day was dedicated to official conference opening ceremony and faculty anniversary celebration, while the next two days comprised sessions and research group meetings. 

Last week was marked with the launch of External Independent Evaluation (EIE) aimed at assessing level of secondary school graduates’ knowledge. One of test locations has been chosen at Zaporizhzhya National University, which is for the fourth time holding the national evaluation procedure. First EIE tests started with Chemistry, followed by other nine disciplines to be carried till June, 7^th. 

In the late April results of 3^rd Professional Journalism Contest on ‘Profession’s Honour-2012’ were summed up. The winners and laureates were awarded on April, 26 at ‘President-Hotel’ (Kyiv), among them was ZNU representative Kateryna Poliakova.

3^rd International Scientific and Practice Conference on Modern Problems in Biology, Ecology and Chemistry was held in ZNU, attended by scientists from Russia, Byelorussia, Kazakhstan, France, Spain, professors and  students from ZNU as well as many other HEIs of Ukraine. 

From May 11^th to July 17^th within the framework of Fulbright Academic Exchange Programme Professor from Illinois University (U.S.A.) Hui Chin Chao is teaching in ZNU.  She is giving lectures to students of 1^st to 3^rd  year at the Faculty of Journalism. 

Zaporizhzhya National University has participated in the 5^th International Environment-2012 Exhibition within the framework of International ‘Environment for Ukraine’ Environmental Forum, held in Kyiv. 

May, 10 an official session of Undergraduate and Postgraduate Students Scientific Society (UPSSS) on Science Day was held at the Faculty of Law. The event was dedicated to summarizing activity achievements by Scientific Society throughout the academic year.
