Delegation of rectors and prorectors of Zaporizhzhya National University and Zaporizhzhya National Technical University will visit Germany on November 13 – 17. Tour is aimed at development of business and partner relations between Sachsen-Anhalt and our region in frame of functioning of ZNU “Centre of cooperation Zaporizhzhya – Magdeburg” and development of contacts with universities «Otto von Guericke», «Magdeburg-Stendal» and German charity fund “Marga and Kurt Mellgaard”.

ZNU Centre of foreign languages has already existed for eight years. It provides courses in six languages. It started from English language. Courses of Polish, Italian and Spanish were opened in 2003. And German language appeared last year. It is taught at the department of Goethe-Institut.

Press-conference dedicated to creation of State art centre “Hyle earth” was held at Zaporizhzhya State University for city and central mass media.

75 years – 75 trees. This is number of trees planted at the territory of ZNU campus   ЗНУ on Saturday October 29   during the arrangement  «Green Olexandrivs’k». It is the first anniversary arrangement of 2005 – 2006 academic year, dedicated to the 75^th anniversary of our university.

International artistic centre “Hyle earth” will be founded at the isle of Khortytsia. Its appearance is initiated by the president of Ukraine Viktor Yushchenko. ZNU students will be the first to enter it.

Regional contest ” Miss University of Zaporizhzhya – 2005”of all-Ukrainian project “Miss University of Ukraine – 2005” was held at night club ”MIX” in frame of cultural arrangements dedicated to the 235^th anniversary of Zaporizhzhya . The winner is ZNU student Inna Severinenko.

Doctor Ene Magi, professor of Tallinn pedagogical university gives lectures at ZNU from October 27. The course consists of 30 lectures in «Comparative social policies in Europe» in Russian and English.

Traditional annual NIKE fitness-convention was held for the third time at Zaporizhzhya National University on October 23.
