April 14 at Zaporizhzhya National University started a traditional contest of amateur performances for the 1st-5th years students "Students' Spring 2015" organized by the Cultural Center of ZNU. On the first day of the festival their "House concert" showed teams of the Faculty of Physical Education, Faculty of Foreign Languages, Faculty of Law and Faculty of Mathematics.
Last week in Kyiv there was Ukrainian Award Ceremony "Heroes of Sports Year 2014". In "Sensation of the Year" won Zaporizhzhya National University graduate student, rower Oleksandr Nadtoka.
Within a framework in cooperation between Zaporizhzhya National University and the Ukrainian public organization "All Ukrainian Federation" Spas" on the basis of faculties of Physical Education and law for several years are functionate scientific and educational structures which occured sporting, scientific and patriotic events continued research and educational work on this subject. Thus, today there was necessity of creation a coordinating center for improving joint groundworks, promoting interaction of some direction activities and promote development interdisciplinary directions in scientific and research work, complex approach to the study of Cossack martial arts and realization of corresponding needs in educational sphere.
A few days ago were announced the results of the first round of the scholarship program ZAVTRA.UA. Among the 700 students from all over Ukraine, who will participate in the second round of the competition which included twenty students of Zaporizhzhya National University. On the next stage of the competition the jury will assess their scientific works, and authors of the best of them qualify to the final round of the competition, the results of which appointed a scholarship.
February 22, over 900 talented pupils from all over Zaporizhzhya region visited Zaporizhzhya National University on the second (regional) stage of the сontest-defense scientific research of the Minor Academy of Sciences of Ukraine. The event is traditionally held on the basis of our university, professors control the meetings of sections and assessed scientific works and also public speaking of pupils. As a result of the contest-defense the best pupils-scientist presented our region in All-Ukrainian level.
On January 28-29 took place competition in mini-football and shooting air rifle among teachers and university employees. The event is traditionally made by representatives of sports and recreation complex of ZNU.
January 28 in Zaporizhzhya National University took place the competition in table tennis among teachers and staff. Event organizers - representatives of sports complex of ZNU and Trade Union Committee.
January 27, on the basis of sports and recreation complex of Zaporizhzhya National University held the opening day of the sports contest between professors and representatives of Zaporizhzhya National University, which were held untill January 30. The organizers of these competitions were representatives of sports and recreation complex and representatives of Zaporizhzhya National University.
In Zaporizhzhya under the auspices of the Department of Regional Association of sports journalists of Ukraine and the newspaper «Zaporizka pravda» passed an annual referendum «Sports Year Laureats». Traditionally, sports journalists and functionaries called their three best variants sportsmen, coaches and teams apart from game kinds of sports. This year in the vote took part 33 respondents. For the first place there were 3 votes contenders, for the second place – 2, for the third place – 1.
