The student of Biological Faculty of Zaporizhzhya National University Yurii Saroz was studying at the MSc level at University of Limerick (Ireland) for 2013-2014 academic year. It became possible due to the ELECTRA Erasmus Mundus Project, and because of cooperation between ZNU and University of Limerick. After returning from Ireland Yurii shared his impressions of the study and compared national and foreign systems of higher education.
Summer students of the Faculty of Biology of ZNU have practice at the Azov-Syvash National Natural Park in the Office of Presidential Affairs of Ukraine, located on the Biryuchiy island. Young people under the leadership of Professor, Head of the Department of Game Management and Ichthyology of ZNU, scientific supervisor of the park, Ph.D. in Biology Valerii Domnich gaining skills in Biryuchiy island for 25 years.
Today hold a solemn ceremony of graduation EQL "Master" and "Specialist" of the Faculty of Biology of ZNU. This year, the Faculty of Biology ZNU is graduated 321 Bachelors, Specialists and Masters; 42 graduates received diplomas cum laude.
May 21 as part of the annual scientific conference "Your opportunities, biologist-2014", organized by the Students' Council of the Faculty, was held summing up the work of the Faculty in all areas of activities: academic, sporting, cultural, charitable, etc. The event was attended by representatives of the Faculty administration, teachers, students and invited guests. Hosts of the celebration were the students of 2nd year of the Faculty of Biology Anastasiia Bezsmertna and Denys Bilokon.
At the Faculty of Biology of Zaporizhzhya National University completed the annual contest "The Best Young Scientist of the Year". This time the results of the rating criteria of the contest winner was assistant of the Department of Landscape Design and Phytogenetics Hanna Levchuk.

April 23-24 at the Kharkiv National University Municipal Economy named after A.M. Beketov was held 2nd stage of All-Ukrainian Students' Olympiad in "Ecology; environmental protection". Among the winners of science contest - a representative of the Biological Faculty of Zaporizhzhya National University: 4th year student of specialty "Ecology" Oleksandr Voloshin and Master student of the same specialty Svitlana Streshna.
April 24 at the Faculty of Biology of Zaporizhzhya National University has held the traditional contest of students' research projects for the title of "The best expert in chemistry" and "The best expert in biology".
