November 8 during the traditional educational fair held in the exhibition center "Kozak Palace", a presentation of the specialty "International Economics". The presentation was conducted first-year students Oleksandr Bilostotskyi and Denys Eromenko who told guests of the event about the features and benefits of training in the direction of international economic activity. Communicating with prospective students and their parents was conducted in a pleasant and friendly atmosphere. November 7 at the Economics Faculty of Zaporizhzhya National University under the vocational guidance activities held traditional annual intellectual contest "What? Where? When?" among high school students in Zaporizhzhya. The event was organized by representatives of the Scientific Community of Students, Postgraduates, Doctoral Students and Young Researchers (SCSP & DSYR) with the support of the Faculty of Economics Dean's office.

October 23 at the Economics Faculty of Zaporizhzhya National University started IX International Scientific and Practical Conference "Challenges and prospects of development of the new economy in the world, national and regional levels", which involved more than 400 students and scholars, among them - 142 guests from different cities of Ukraine.
October 21 in Zaporizhzhya National University was held the second day of freshmen contest "Let me introduce myself", organized traditionally by the Cultural Centre of ZNU. This time demonstrated their talents students of Faculties of Economics, Physical Education, Social Pedagogics and Psychology.
October 16, Zaporizhzhya National University visited D.Sc. in Economics, professor, Honored Economist of Ukraine, Ukrainian politician, former Minister of Finance of Ukraine, Deputy of Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine for four convocations, Deputy Chairman of the Supervisory Board of JSC "UkrSibbank", who held the post of Deputy Prime Minister Ukrainian government Minister, Minister of Economy and Minister of Finance.
The staff of the Faculty of Economics of our university received an honorable victory at the All-Ukrainian level. Through the efforts of its teachers and students, Zaporizhzhya National University recognized leader in the most prestigious category "Best Educational Institution in quality of specialist training for the banking and financial sector" in the 4th All-Ukrainian contest "The best institution on preparation specialists for the banking and financial sector in 2014" (according to the magazine "Banker").
October 7 at the Faculty of Economics was held regular scientific workshop for school teachers in economics. It was devoted to the preparation of research students, members of the Small Academy of Sciences of Ukraine to participate in All-Ukrainian contest-defense and the use of innovative educational technologies in the educational process.
