December 13 specialized Scientific Council of the Odessa National University named after I.I. Mechnikov, with unanimous decision awarded the degree of doctor of philological sciences, specialty 10.02.04 "Germanic languages" Professor of the Department of Translation Theory and Practice Rusudan Mahachashvili.
Yesterday in ZNU held a presentation of excerpts from works of French writers of drama school under the guidance of a trainee of University du Maine Klyemans Lyenhlye. Participants of the studio - students from different courses of specialties "French Language and Literature", "English Language and Literature", "Translation (French)" of the Faculty of Foreign Languages of ZNU.
Vocational work at the Faculty of Foreign Languages of ZNU made immediately in several ways, including the attraction to work with the future entrants of students and masters.
November 13 at the Museum of ZNU, students of the Faculty of Philology held a roundtable discussion dedicated the 75th anniversary of the birth of Russian writer Benedict Erofeev.
October 28 at the Faculty of Foreign Languages held 16th Methodological practical seminar for teachers of foreign languages in Zaporizhzhya. These teaching activities at the Faculty of Foreign Languages of our university held for six consecutive years. Thanks to cooperation with Information-analytical methodological center of the Department of Education and Science, Youth and Sports of Zaporizhzhya Regional State Administration, the popularity of these practical seminars is increasing every year. So, this time the event visited more than 150 teachers.
October 24 representative of the Faculty of Foreign Languages of ZNU - Ph.D., associate professor of English Philology Nataliya Nadtochiy - visited Energodar for career guidance to talented youth within the defense of scientific works SAS (sections: "English language", "German language").
Teachers of the Faculty of Foreign Languages of ZNU are always willing to share their experiences with colleagues. Practice of holding master classes has long been a tradition at the faculty. Another master class was held on 21 October. Their experience of online resources for teaching foreign language shared PhD, senior lecturer of the Department of Teaching Second Language Olga Tupakhina and teacher of the same department Maryna Trofymenko.
