List of documents for an invitation for study
For invitations to study a foreign citizen must send an email to employees of the International Office of ZNU: internationalstudents.znu@gmail.com
scanned documents, namely:
1) passport document of a foreigner;
2) document on education with supplement (which is contained gained scores) or academic certificate;
3) written consent to the processing of personal data (English or French version):
Attention! The aforementioned documents are submitted in English, French, Russian or Ukrainian language.
Important! The invitation is valid for six months from the date of issue (this must be considered when submitting documents for the issuance of the invitation and terms of arrival for study).

Language training of international students
Preparatory Department
Preparatory Department of Zaporizhzhia National University accepts foreign and stateless persons who have secondary education certificate and for health reasons can study at higher education institutions. The objectives of the Preparatory Department for foreign citizens are Ukrainian language training, pre-entry training for admission to Zaporizhzhia National University or other higher education institutions of Ukraine.
- Period of study at the Preparatory Department – 9 months.
- Tuition fees:
- 1000$ - individual admission;
- 800$ - admission with the help of contracting firms of ZNU.
- Admission to the Preparatory Department – throughout the year.
- It is necessary to receive an Invitation letter for admission to the Preparatory Department. Foreign or stateless person should send the documents at the email address (intoffice.znu@gmail.com) with the subject “to Preparatory Department”

- Nota bene! Invitation letter is valid for a period of 6 (six) months from the date of issue (it is necessary to consider when submitting the documents to issue an invitation and determining arrival date and period of study).

In case of successful completion of the Preparatory Department for foreign citizens, students receive a Certificate of Completion of the Preparatory Department of Zaporizhzhia National University.

Qualifications
In order to qualify for a place on the programme you will need to meet the following requirements:
You are a full-time student at undergraduate (post-secondary) level and are at least 18 years of age.
Please note that candidates who are currently studying for a PhD are not eligible for this programme.
Your main field of study is in one of the following areas: applied physics, computing, mathematics, electricity, electronics, mechanical or civil engineering, instrumentation, materials science, radiation protection, safety and environmental protection, surveying, ultra-high vacuum, scientific communication. A very limited number of places may be available in administrative fields such as: translation, advanced secretarial work, accounting, legal services, human resources, librarianship, logistics.

Call for Applications: Vaclav Havel Journalism Fellowship 2020 - 2021
The Fellowship is a joint initiative of RFE/RL and the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Czech Republic, and aims to strengthen media independence in Eastern Partnership countries and the Russian Federation. It is generously supported by the Dagmar and Václav Havel Foundation VIZE97.
The program will help prepare the selected Fellows to be standard-bearers of their profession and leaders in their communities, on-line, on air, and in the world A monthly stipend at the bureau and in Prague, housing, health insurance, and travel arrangements to and from Prague shall be provided.

OPEN CALL CULTURAL AND ARTISTIC RESPONSES TO ENVIRONMENTAL CHANGE
The Prince Claus Fund and the Goethe-Institut are issuing a new Call for Proposals to support cultural and artistic initiatives tackling pressing environmental issues around the world. The Call for Proposals: Cultural and Artistic Responses to Environmental Change is the third of this cycle and builds on the 2018 & 2019 editions, through which 35 exceptional projects were supported. This 2020 edition will be the last in this format, though the Prince Claus Fund and the Goethe-Institut remain committed to supporting people who are finding creative ways to address environmental issues and the climate crisis.
Young European Journalists Workshop 2020
The M100 Young European Journalists Workshop is part of the renowned annual international media conference M100 Sanssouci Colloquium. The workshop addresses a young generation of journalists and editors between the ages of 21 and 30 from all around Europe, including the countries of the Eastern Partnership and Russia. Potential participants work as journalists, bloggers or scholars. They should be passionate about their role in the democratic process and take an active interest in the future of media, journalism and democracy. Due to the covid-situation the workshop will be conducted as a decentral, online event over the course of six weeks.
