Stipendien für Hochschulabsolventinnen und -absolventen aus Mittel- und Osteuropa (MOE)
The Deutsche Bundesstiftung Umwelt (DBU), based in Osnabrück, maintains a scholarship programme with 19 countries (Bulgaria, Estonia, Latvia, Lithuania, Poland, Kaliningrad oblast, Romania, Slovak Republic, Czech Republic, Ukraine, Hungary, Slovenia, Croatia, Bosnia-Herzegovina, Serbia, Albania, Kosovo, Macedonia and Montenegro) in Central and Eastern Europe. The aim of the programme is to enable university graduates to obtain further professional qualifications to solve tasks in environmental protection and nature conservation in their home countries.
Postgraduate Education
To Postgraduate Department competitively accepted foreign citizens who have higher education and a Master's degree.
Entrants to Postgraduate Studies submit the following documents:
1) application addressed to the Rector;
2) personal data sheet with photo, certified at the place of work (for unemployed graduates - Postgraduate and Post-Doctoral Studies Department of ZNU);
3) autobiography;
4) copy of diploma of higher education (Master's degree);
5) copy of the supplement to the diploma of higher education;
6) photocopy of passport (2 copies);
7) certificate of fluorography;
8) list of published scientific works and inventions, certified by the academic secretary of the university;
9) certificate about passed candidate exams (when passed);
10) consent to the collection and processing of personal data;
11) two photos of 3 x 4.
The person who submits for admission to Postgraduate Department diploma issued by a foreign university, admitted to entrance examinations along with other entrants. When passing the entrance exams relevant academic council of higher education admission before entrant enrollment has decided on recognition of his diploma or provide a reasoned explanation for the denial of such recognition
Entrants to Postgraduate Department entrance examinations pass:
- examination in specialty (in the curriculum for Specialist's or Master's degree that corresponds their chosen specialties)
- exam in a foreign language by choice (English, German, Spanish, Italian, French) to the extent of the level B2 of the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages.
- interviewing with entrant.
Tuition fees – 1500 USD per 1 year of study.
Study length – 4 years.

Procedure for Recognition of Diplomas issued by educational institutions of foreign countries
A foreign citizen who became a student of the University shall apply the procedure for recognition of education documents to the State Enterprise Ministry of Education and Science of Ukraine "Information and Image Center" during the first month of training.
Information on the number of documents the order of their submission, the timing and cost of the procedure for recognition of foreign education of documents can be found on the official website of "Information and Image Center": http://nostrification.net.ua.
List of documents for enrollment
For enrollment foreigner submits an application in the paper form. Also foreigner attached to the application:
1) the original and a copy of the document on previous education;
2) the original and a copy of the document (supplement to the document on previous education), which contains information about its performance in academic subjects;
3) academic certificate issued by foreign / Ukrainian institution (in case of transfer or renewal for education, starting from the second year, added academic transcript)
4) a copy of the passport of a foreigner or a document certifying the stateless person;
5) health insurance, unless otherwise provided by international treaties of Ukraine;
6) 10 photos sized 35 x 45 mm;
7) a copy of the certificate of Ukrainian foreign;
The documents referred to in paragraphs 1-4 of this paragraph shall be translated into Ukrainian language with notarization of translation.
The documents referred to subparagraphs 1 - 3 of this paragraph must be certified in the country of issue in a way that is officially used in this country for this witness, and legalized by the respective overseas institution of Ukraine, unless otherwise provided by international treaties of Ukraine.

Attention! Foreign citizens who are studying at the university full-time, by the State Migration Service of Ukraine issued a temporary residence permit in Ukraine for the period of study.
