On March 9th the traditional days devoted to honoring the famous Ukrainian poet Taras Shevchenko has started in Zaporizhzhya National University. The teachers and students of the Philological Department laid the flowers to two poet's monuments at the campus.
Traditionally students and teachers declaimed Shevchenko's famous poetry and recalled about his great life events.
It is the 150th poet's death anniversary this year on March 10th. The round table discussion and the honoring concert devoted to Taras Shevchenko's works will follow the memorial events.
