The results of the contest for the best essay from the newspaper Industrial'noe Zaporozh'e (Industrial Zaporizhzhya) are announced. 64 people (82 essays) from two Zaporizhzhya Universities - CPU and ZNU - participated in it. The best premiums went to ZNU Journalism Department's students.
The IZ chief editor Volodymyr Dupak named the winners and said that the first prize (1000 USD) didn't go to anyone - it will be drawn next year. So far the best contest work was the essay written by ZNU senior Sergiy Butko, 
entitled "Chernobyl Here and Now", which was published in the newspaper. Sergiy won 500 USD for his work.
Other prizes and the job proposals went to the junior Maryna Kuts (her essay will be published soon); junior lecturer of the Chair of Editing and Publishing Yurii Kostyk; freshmen Anrii Vavilov, Gennadii Matvienko and Maria Dimarovska; junior Anna Burenko.
Volodymyr Dupak said thank-yous to the students and Department's staff, wished the future journalists to work on their professionalism and journalistic style, and invited the best students for the internships in the newspaper.
