There are twenty students of different departments gathered in the "Speaking Club" lead by the Peace Corps volunteer Anna Crawford. The club meeting was on the American state holiday - Thanksgiving Day celebrated in the fourth Tuesday of November.
The students discussed the main features and traditions of this holiday celebration, which is the family holiday with the traditional dinner with the turkey and the pumpkin pie.
Every student can join the speaking club. The only condition is fluency in English. The meetings are on Tuesdays at the Department of Foreign Languages.
