Presentation of student innovation project in ZNU

Innovation project in Automation of Business Processes at Enterprise within the contest in ‘Automating control systems in economy’ framework.

Event organizers are the Department of Economic Cybernetics, ZNU and PJSC 'Procom'. According to Professor, Doctor of Economics Natalia Maksishko, head of the Department, the contest represents a new approach to the learning process. Its mission: modeling professional activity of future experts in economic cybernetics.
Vitaliy Rytov, Kostiantyn Turnov and Yegor Borsuk, undergraduate students of Economics have presented their project to the public eye. The students have had their internship at PJSC 'Prokom', according to the agreement on cooperation signed between the Department and the Company. Thus the student innovation project presentation has become an internship project defence and also an example of how the contestants should present their own projects.
The Board of judges included Tetiana Zakhovalko - Ph.D. in Physics and Mathematics, associate professor for the Department of Economic Cybernetics, Igor Kozin – Doctor of Physics and Mathematics, professor, Sergiy Butenko - director of PJSC ‘Procom’, Iryna Stoliarchuk - manager at PJSC ‘Procom’, Ph.D. in Physics and Mathematics, and teachers from the Faculty of Economics.
Once the presentation has been finished, Natalia Maksishko explained to the students contest project requirements. Students of 2 to 4th year majoring in Economic Cybernetics are welcomed to participate. The contest is being shaped as business game which supposes team work and is a simulating work process at the automation department in the company. Team of players is composed of 5-9 persons with regard to functional distribution of the tasks being assigned.
The contest task lies in developing solutions for automating control systems at an enterprise or its structures.
Applications are invited till February 14, 2012, presentation of project’s analytical section is due on February, 23. Projects presentation and awarding ceremony is set for March, 29 in Zaporizhzhya National University.
