Current issues on forecasting and planning of political situations and processes discussed in ZNU

International Scientific Conference on Social forecasting and planning of political situations and processes has gathered in ZNU sociologists and political experts across all the regions of Ukraine, as well as researchers from Russia

The conference was initiated and organised by the Ministry of Education and Science, Zaporizhzhya Regional State Administration, Regional Council, Zaporizhzhya National University, Faculty of Social Sciences and Administration (ZNU), Sociological Association of Ukraine, Ryazan State University named after O. Yesenin (Russia), Tyumen State University (Russia) and EU-UNDP Project on “Community Based Approach to Local Development 2”.
As vice rector for research Victor Gryshchak stressed in his welcome address, due to such events scientific community had traditional opportunity to share its achievements and forecast possible ways in the nation’s development. In addition, Department of Education and Science (Regional State Administration) head Olexander Verozubov highlighted that conference subject was extremely crucial for the young Ukrainian nation, as political development prognostication and planning testify to civilization degree and sustainable development of the nation.
The plenary session was dedicated to reports of Doctor of Philosophy, Professor Vitaliy Volovyk, Doctor of Philosophy, Assoc. Prof. Maxim Lepskyi, Ph.D. in Philosophy, Assoc. Prof. Tetiana Nikolayeva. The two-day conference previews further activities within five research groups to debate on theory and methodology issues, diagnostics and forecasting political situations and processes development.
