The 6th International Student Conference in Economics launched in ZNU

The conference on “Innovation Ideas of Youth in Social and Economic Development of Ukraine” was opened today in the University, gathering over 200 participants across 21 higher education institutions of Ukraine, Russia Byelorussia and Poland.



At the plenary session the experts along with undergraduate and postgraduate students gave their reports. In particular, Department of Accounting and Audit lecturer Yulia Skorniakova proposed the technology of analysing credit capacity of company’s investment projects. Department of Economic Cybernetics assistant lecturer Sergiy Cheverda represented his report on analysis and forecasting world prices for energy resources via discreet non-linear dynamics methods.
Also, "Oleksandriyskyi” Charity Foundation board member Natalia Pichkur took the floor drawing attention of the scholars toward the tendency traced in the foreign countries' economy focusing on providing the community with ecologically clean food and products. This tendency is initiated also in the Ukrainian economy, though its implementation depends strongly on young scholars who are to direct their investigations in this sector of the economy. She has also encouraged students to participate in research project competitions, initiated by Leonid Kuchma President’s Fund. As a gift to the Faculty of Economics, Natalia Pichkur gave Mykola Rudenko’s “Energy of the Progress” book. The award ceremony was dedicated to students of Economics – winners at Ukrainian Student Research Project Contests in various fields of Economics.
She has also encouraged students to participate in research project competitions, initiated by Leonid Kuchma President’s Fund. The award ceremony was dedicated to students of Economics – winners at Ukrainian Student Research Project Contests in various fields of Economics.
The conference will continue on in small theme groups as follows: Theoretical problematic issues in innovation processes under globalisation; Current problematic issues of innovation and investment activities in the economy of Ukraine; Pressing financial problems of innovation activity in the 21st century; Innovation processes modeling in economic systems.
