April, 6 ZNU held business game final in Control Systems Automation in Economy. The contest which is a new form of learning has been developed by Department of Economic Cybernetics (ZNU), guided by its head, Doctor of Economics Natalia Maksyshko and initiated by 'PROCOM' LLC. The contest was attended by 2nd to 4th year undergraduate students of Economics and students of Junior Academy of Business Administration.
Opening its final stage Faculty of Economics dean, Doctor of Economics, Professor Alla Cherep pointed out that such type of studies is of great significance for students as future professionals, since employers are seeking real projects, as close as possible to present-day conditions in economy development. According to the Department head, Doctor of Economics Natalia Maksyshko, key advantage of the new approach to education allows students apply their theoretical knowledge in real time to address practice-related assignments. In a result, three projects have been selected to the final.
Projects defense was held in business game format simulating real operation mode at the company’s Department of Automation. During the game students were performing diverse experts’ functions: from analysts on information collection and processing, management by procedures and business processes optimization, IT experts to professionals in economic efficiency assessment, etc.
