Spring renewal works are launched on ZNU campus each year. Students and hostel residents clean up academic premises with university staff renovating near-buildings territory and making flower-beds to plant flowers.
A new broad pavement is now joining the Biology Faculty building with other campus buildings. At the same time nearby premises are being modernized and redesigned with new shrubs taking the place of old ones around the Biology Faculty Building. The works are performed by students, majoring in Landscape Design supervised by the expert Victor Baranov.
The out-of-date sidewalks have been taken off, instead the spare places are being made wider for lawns and flower-beds. In a short time luxuriant vegetation will be growing there. What kind of flowers will grow depends on students of landscape design. It is previewed to put new benches and renovate and improve campus territories, making them more attracting and recreation-friendly.
Upon completion of the renewal works on the University enhancement abundant flowers and Alpine hills will be bedded out. ZNU campus will again serve for both educational and recreation purposes.
