The Conference has been initiated and supported by the Ministry of Education and Science, Youth and Sports of Ukraine, Prydniprovia Research Centre, National Academy of Sciences of Ukraine, Oles Gonchar National University (Dnipropetrovsk) and Zaporizhzhya National University. The scientific meeting unified the scholars from Kyiv, Lviv, Dniporpetrovsk, Melitopol, Zaporizhzhya and other cities of Ukraine.  The plenary session was attended by researchers, professors and students across other higher education institutions in Zaporizhzhya.

Opening the conference session, ZNU acting rector Olexander Bondar greeted the attendees by expressing his gratitude to each scholar, who were visiting the conference, and also the stirring committee, which provided the researchers with a fruitful discussion, exchange of experience and generating innovative ideas. The Acting rector pointed out that significance of social sciences and humanities in the present-day life of the country could  hardly be overestimated. He also expressed his hope that recommendations suggested by the scholars at the conference would serve as a springboard for social and political decision-making aimed at Ukraine's development and prosperity.

In his turn Prydniprovia Research Centre, dean for the Faculty of Social Sciences and International Relations (Oles Gonchar National University), Doctor of Philosophy, Prof. Olexander Tokovenko stressed that he was glad to participate in the session as scholars from every HEI in Ukraine know all the ins and outs about their own research schools, but it was extremely important to have opportunity to exchange experience with their colleagues.

Results of the conference research groundwork will be introduced to the general public and transferred on to the experts for further implementation in practice.
