All-Ukrainian Scientific and Practice Conference for Young Scholars took place at the Faculty of Law
The conference on “Studies of problematic issues of Ukrainian Law as viewed by young scholars” has been held in ZNU, organized by the Faculty of Law and Undergraduate and Postgraduate Students Scientific Society (UPSSS) in particular.
For non-local residents the conference was carried out by correspondence. All in all about 80 abstracts have been submitted to ZNU organising committee by representatives from Donetsk National University,Ivan Franko National University(Lviv), the Academy of Advocacy of Ukraine (Kyiv),Yarolsav Mudryi Legal Academy of Ukraine (Kharkiv),Sumy State University and other higher education institutions. At the session students of Law (ZNU) represented their reports.
The first speaker was Master degree student Iya Zozul with her report on “History of legal presumptions’ origin and evolution of the concept”, followed by studies on current issues in jurisprudence, represented by undergraduate and postgraduate students. Student Maksym Diyachek spoke on “Settlement agreement concept in economic process and legal aspects of its invalidity and reversal”, whereas Alina Papian looked into “Problematic issues of lawyer’s presence in economic court” and Oleksandra Maslova spoke on “General legal specifications of administrative delinquency science”.
The speakers carried an in-depth study of the concepts’ history and specifics of their usage in legal practice under different stages of society development. They also responded to questions set by their adversaries.
The current issue of the conference was outlined as follows “Mediation as a way of pre-court resolution of commercial disputes”, represented by Veronika Yerokhina. In her research she proved that mediation advantages (resolution of disputes involving intermediary, or mediator), assist conflicting parties in settling communication compared to dispute resolution in court. Report of Veronika Yerokhina was acclaimed as solid-based and the student was awarded “The Best Report” certificate. Collection of abstracts is going to be published to sum up the conference results.
