April, 29 Zaporizhzhya National University welcomed prospective students within its walls. School graduates and their parents had opportunity to communicate with the University top administration officials and deans and get responses regarding admission procedure and 2012 enrollment specifics. To get more information on education peculiarities the guests referred to ZNU professors and students. Later tour across ZNU campus was arranged for the attendees.
Welcoming school graduates and prospective students ZNU Acting Rector Oleksander Bondar pointed o
ut: “Due to Euro-2012 Championship academic year has been cut down with professors, parents and prospective students being in strained circumstances. That is the reason why selecting higher education institution and thus one’s future is more crucial today, than ever. We express our gratitude to you for visiting Zaporizhzhya National University. I am convinced that information you receive on Open Day will undoubtedly affect your choice”.
The Acting Rector has also mentioned of 14.000 undergraduate and graduate students studying at 17 faculties and 2 colleges, a significant index to testify that ZNU is enjoying well-deserved authority in the region and across Ukraine.
“I would also like to highlight, that Open Day is a certain formality, but we would be happy to see you in ZNU every day, so please feel free to come to the University any time and ask the questions that disturb you”, stressed Oleksander Bondar.
Admission Committee executive secretary Stanislav Ivanenko has drawn attention to key moments of Admission Campaign 2012, in particular dates, deadlines and list of documents necessary to get enrolled to the University. Stanislav Ivanenko has wished school graduates to successfully pass External Independent Evaluation (EIE) and become ZNU students in September 2012.
The guests were also introduced to entertainment programme organised and performed by current ZNU students.
Once official ceremony came to its end, school graduates were offered to visit the faculties to get more detailed information on studies’ specifics and prospects, attainments of teaching faculty, graduates and current students.
In addition to the fully-packed programme every one willing could undergo professional inclination evaluation, receive answers and sign up to preparatory training course at the Admission Committee.
