3rd International Scientific and Practice Conference on Modern Problems in Biology, Ecology and Chemistry was held in ZNU, attended by scientists from Russia, Byelorussia, Kazakhstan, France, Spain, professors and students from ZNU as well as many other HEIs of Ukraine.
Faculty of Biology dean, D.Sc. in Pharmaceutics, Professor Liudmyla Omelianchyk introduced the attendees to scientific attainments at the Faculty and wished productive work at the conference.
His welcome speech also delivered chairman of the Department on Environmental Safety Affairs under Zaporizhzhya Municipal Council Glib Zolotaryov. He stressed the significance of developing Natural Sciences, as it is the biologists who have opportunity to find out mechanisms and approaches to save the environment.
The conference lasted for three days, with the tour across Zaporizhzhya historical monuments in the first day, followed by two days of scientific activities.
