Kyiv, the 5th Youth Forum of ‘Zavtra.UA’ Scholarship Programme closed, having gathered over 300 students-winners in the National ‘Zavtra.UA’ 2012 Scholarship Programme. The winners have been selected after results of three stages, with participation of 1859 candidates from over 100 HEIs (4thaccreditation level) across all the regions of Ukraine. Among the winners were also students from ZNU Faculty of Social Pedagogics and Psychology Svitlana Firsova and Ulyana Dyachenko.
Within the framework of previous Forum on «How to Create Tomorrow», which lasted for 3 days, May 12-14th, the scholarship holders and guests responded on issues what the education of future will be like and the what should be studied in unstable world. First two Forum days were dedicated to team-building and project trainings, also social projects development in such fields as Culture, Health, Education, Environment, Protection of Human Rights, Social and Psychological Aid/Support etc. Award ceremony was held on the third day.
Scholarship holders were awarded with diplomas, and also social projects to receive financial and organisational support by Victor Pinchuk’s Fund were made public. After the results made by the jury, comprised of Fund officials, business representatives and public activists five projects have been selected as the winners, among which was ‘Overload’ project, aimed at assisting social adaptation of under-age students at re-socialization schools.
