Faculty of Physical Education team became second-winner at the 3rd Sports Games of Ukraine in Track and Field
May 17-19, Yalta, 3rd Sports Games of Ukraine in track and field were carried out among HEIs of 3-4 accreditation level.
In total 36 teams representing 36 universities took part in national competitions. Among classical universities ZNU Faculty of Physical Education team became second-winner. Our sportsmen have shown good results in specific programme events: Honoured Master of Sports Olesya Povkh has won golden medal in 100m run, showing high result of 11.22sec. World-class Master of Sports Sergiy Sagutkin came third in 100m run. Master of Sports of Ukraine Olga Pushkina has won silver in shot put.
Women’s team comprised of Olesya Povkh, Iryna Kravchenko, Tetiana Davydenko and Olga Pushkina became the best in 4х100m relay race gaining gold.
