Again the student of Zaporizhzhya National University Maria Pomazan has proved to the whole world she's the best at shot putting. Our athlete claimed a gold medal on the fifth day of the of the Paralympic Games in London, beating her previous world record of 12.22 meters.
We congratulate Maria for the victory and wish her new sport-achievements!
Ukrainian athletes have currently won 26 medals, 11 of them in swimming, one in shooting, five in judo, two in rowing, one in powerlifting, and six in athletics.
