Better Than Gold

The graduate of ZNU Faculty of History Maria Pomazan after a long revision of the competition's results (the discus throw) awarded silver at the Paralympic Games.

According to the Ukrainian National Paralympic Committee, the The International Paralympic Committee was reconsidering its decision on Maria's gold medal for five times.  This decision shattered all female athlete's hopes for justice.  The «rearranged» ceremony has already passed.  Certainly, such event affect the mood of Ukrainian athletes. However, they don't lose heart and continue fighting at the sport arenas of London 2012. 
We are proud of two awards won by our graduate and wish her future victories!
