The International Scientific Conference "Integration Capabilities of Modern Psychology and the Ways of its Development" with participation of the scientists from Poland, Romania, Italy, Russia and Ukraine started today at ZNU.
Doctor of historian sciences, Professor, ZNU Rector Mykola Frolov opened the plenary session with congratulating everyone on this great event – the International Research Forum. Mykola Oleksandrovich stressed that the development of psychology as a science today was extremely important, that's why the scientists were welcomed at ZNU and hoped that such conferences would become traditional. Rector noted that the conference would be particular interesting for young researchers and students, because of opportunity to chat personally with renowned specialists and ensure the correct choice of a future profession. Mykola Frolov also said that here, at ZNU, we were proud of the academic staff of the Faculty of Social Pedagogy and Psychology. They fully support the development of psychology as a science, form and develop Zaporizhzhya scientific school of psychology.
At the beginning of the conference Ph.D., Associate Professor, Dean of the Faculty of Social Pedagogy and Psychology Olga Ponomarenko gave a welcome speech.
Corresponding member of NAPS of Ukraine, PhD in Psychology, Professor, Head of the Laboratory of organizational psychology of G.S. Kostiuk Institute of Psychology at the NAPS of Ukraine Lyudmila Karamushka, PhD in Psychology, Professor, Head of the Laboratory of Masses and Communities Psychology at the Institute of Social and Political Psychology NAPS of Ukraine Vadym Vasyutinskiy, Doctor of Pedagogical Sciences, Professor of Volgograd State Pedagogical University, director of the The Research Centre for Gender Studies Lyudmila Stolyarchuk participated at the plenary session.
The conference will last three days. The scientists will work in five sections: "Genesis of the Formation and Development of Personality", "Organizational and Economic Psychology", "Social and Psychological Aspects of the Integration Processes in Modern Society", "Social Representation and Intercultural Communication", "Gender Studies".
