On November 1 at ZNU took place the report-election conference of the Scientific Society of Students and Postgraduates. Young scientists reviewed several urgent issues: the SASP report for the 2011/2012 academic year, the election of the head of the company for 2012/2013 academic year, the presentation of the Coordinating Council of SASP and approval of the work plan for the current school year.
The first Vice-Rector of ZNU Oleksandr Bondar, the Vice-Rector on scientific work Viktor Gryschak, the Chief Accountant Vasyl Tymoshyk, the heads of Scientific and Research Division Viktoriya Menyaylo, the Dean of the Faculty of Philology Tamara Khomyak, the SASP heads of the faculties and student delegates participated in the conference.
The head of SASP of Zaporizhzhya National University Svitlana Dobroskok opened the conference. She spoke with the report on the work of scientific societies in the past academic year and summarizes her own work as the head of SASP of ZNU for five years. Svitlana welcomed the honored guests and thanked the management of the University for their continuing support of young scientists of ZNU. Svitlana Dobroskok also introduced delegates the candidate for the post of new head of the company recommended by the Coordinating Council – the head of SASP of the Faculty of Law Kseniya Myasnyankina.
The first Vice-Rector of ZNU Oleksandr Bondar also addressed all the participants. He noted that he with pleasure and great interest visits the events of the Scientific Society of Students and Postgraduates, he is proud of the fact that students of ZNU live interesting, fruitful scientific and creative life, and most of what they are dealing with the science on their own beliefs. Oleksandr Grygorovych thanked Svitlana Dobroskok for good long-term work and expressed hope that the new head of the Scientific Society of Students and Postgraduates will be able to maintain the high brand of SASP of ZNU.
The Vice-Rector on scientific work Viktor Gryschak on behalf of the administration awarded the most active researchers with Certificates of Honor. He thanked for fruitful work, concern for the development of science and research, and he assured that the leadership of our university would always support young scientists.
Delegates of the conference listened to the report of Kseniya Myasnyankina and unanimously supported the recommendation of the Coordinating Council of the SASP about her appointment for the office of President of the Scientific Society of Students and Postgraduates of ZNU.
