Students of ELC held presentation of the project “Together with M. Kotsubinskiy discover Hutsul land for ourselves”
Recently freshmen of Economics and Law College of Zaporizhzhyan National University of “Finance and Credits” and “Organization of production” held presentation of searching project “Together with M. Kotsubinskiy discover Hutsul land for ourselves”.
Project activity is a quite new kind of studying, which gives an opportunity to the students to find out their creative potential, to develop searching and team work skills. As subject of the project was chosen the story “Shadows of Forgotten Ancestors” of Mikhaylo Kotsyubinskiy, whose 100 anniversary of death would be marked the next year.
For participation in this activity students were divided into groups. “Students-movie critics” compared his work with the same movie of Sergiy Paradzhanov, shootings of which were held in real Hutsul houses and suburbs of Kryvorivnya village of Verhovynsliy District of Ivano-Frankivsk Region, and demonstrated parts of it. “Students-mythologists” told about mythological creatures –aridniky,shezniki, nyavki, who are skillfully depicted by M. Kotsyubinskiy in his work. “Ethnographers” told about customs, ceremonies, way of Hitsul life, demonstrated clothing examples, houseware, which were depicted in the work.
The best turn out to be group presentations and performances of Vlad Kondratenko, Victoriya Biryukova, Karina Kurman, Yulia Goloshapova, Katerina Zaharova, Yulia Bulenkova, Anastasia Kaminska and Anna Nahaets.
