On the base of Zaporizhzhya National University in September of this year was opened regional brunch of International youth organization AIESEC of Zaporizhzhya under leadership of Olga Novikova. AIESEC is international youth organization, that helps to develop professional skills and personal qualities, to get new experience during participation in international programs and project organizations.
AIESEC unites energetic youth out of 331 countries of the world. The participants of the program are students and graduated students, who every day develop their personal and professional qualities on the way of self formation as liders, who want and know how to change the world t the best. On the beginning of December 2012 AIESEC organized national project “Explore Ukraine” in Zaporizhzhya. Before this project was successfully realized in such countries as China, Sri-lanka and etc. Within the project Ukraine will be visited by 35 trainee of different parts of the world.
Guests will be accepted in such towns as Kyiv, Lviv, Donetsk, Berdyanks, Ternopil and Zaporizhzhya. The aim of “Explore Ukraine” project is a presentation of Ukraine as cultural developed and tourist attractive country on international stage. Trainees will visit the most attractive and picturesque places, will learn about features of our country, will experience the Ukrainian hospitality and taste meals of national kitchen. Everything that trainees see and try they will post on their blogs on Facebook, Twitter, thus will give an opportunity to people from other countries to see, what our country Ukraine is like.
December, 12 Zaporizhzhia meets the first wave of trainees, who will be in our country for 3 weeks. We will be visited by Hiao from Singapore, Karina and Tiemi from Brazil, Lucas from Argentina and Moe from Egypt.
Besides of acquainting town tours and excursions on the Khortytsya island, there will be organized celebration of St. Nicholas Day and New Year's day for our guests, arranged Ukrainian traditional parties (vetchornitsy) with traditional ceremony and meals.
The next 2013 year group of activists of Zaporizhzhya Department AIESEC will continue their work. In addition to the invitation of trainees and volunteers to our city there are a lot of other exciting activities and events in the future plans of organization.
