Regional stage of the Taras Shevchenko International Language and Literature Competition Took Place in ZNU
December 13, the 3-rd stage of the Taras Shevchenko International Language and Literature Competition held in ZNU.
The Dean of ZNU Faculty of Philology Tamara Homyak welcomed the participants, noted that everyone who had made that far could be a winner, because they had proved their knowledge in literature and linguistics, love for the native language. She congratulated the students on behalf of ZNU administration and wished them success during the this stage of the competition.
The Head of the Regional Department of Higher Education and Information Support Galina Denisova thanked Zaporizhzhya National University for their assistance in conducting the contest.
The Docent of the Zaporizhzhya Regional Institute of Post-Graduate Pedagogical Education Galina Koritska told the participants that this year winners' prize - scholarship of the President of Ukraine.
Galina Romanivna introduced the members of the jury: Dean of ZNU Faculty of Philology Tamara Homyak, Head of ZNU Department of Ukrainian Studies Olga Stadnichenko, Senior lecturer of the Department of Ukrainian Language and Comparatives of the Berdyansk State Pedagogical University Olga Harina, Docent of the Department of Cultural and Ukrainian Studies of the Zaporizhzhya State Medical UniversityOksana Sidorenko.
After the official part the contestants opened the envelopes with competition's tasks. After that, 4 hours of hard work were waiting for the students.
