Representatives of Zaporizhzhya National University joined the all-Ukrainian action "For a clean environment"
April 20 representatives of Zaporizhzhya National University joined the all-Ukrainian action "For a clean environment". Students headed by the University Student Council Anton Osadchyk student councils and heads of departments, including Anatoly Shashkov, Alina Ivanenko, Julia Pigareva, Margarita Nemnitova participated in cleaning the park "Oak grove". To support the students of our university, the work day visiting the first rector of Zaporizhzhya National University Oleksandr Bondar and assistant to the rector on educational work of Natalie Voronova.
The event was also attended by representatives of major companies, public organizations an
d universities of Zaporozhye. Held up was in the format of the competition. Team of Zaporizhzhya National University took first place for quality and quick cleaning of the area. This victory was made possible by the active participation of the students of our university in the city action, especially those departments that were represented the largest number of participants - Faculty of Foreign Languages, Faculty of history, Faculty of physical education and Faculty of journalism. All our university was represented at the 87 clean-persons. Our students not only to cope with the cleaning of the area, but also helped clean up others. During the event in the park only representatives of Zaporizhzhya National University gathered about a hundred bags of garbage.
Cleaning lasted about two and a half hours. After that, the students waited for lunch and sports competitions. In team sports Zaporizhzhya National University ranked second among the eleven teams, behind only the team Zaporizhia ferroalloy plant. As a result of our high active sport owes one of the most colorful support groups.
After a competition were award ceremony teams. Members of all groups had the opportunity to visit eight free attractions. The representatives of the city administration, which also participate in the event, praised the work of the team and thanked everyone for their participation in the clean.
