April 19 at the Faculty of History of Zaporizhzhya National University hosted an international scientific Internet conference "Historical science in the university: research areas, projects, problems (for example, university of southern Ukraine and Russia)".
The conference was organized and conducted jointly by historical faculties Southern Federal University and Zaporizhzhya National University Interfaculty under the joint venture agreement. In order to consolidate the professional efforts of the international community's high school historical development of public space professional coaches two universities discussed a range of issues. To discuss the following topics were suggested: "University historians: marginals or members of historiography" mainstream "?"; "General History": paradoxes and incidents of national historiography "; "The history of the regions and the possibility of a regional approach, research in universities and issues of financial support scholars, historical research at the university vs educational process?"; "Undergraduate schools: the experience condition, prospects, problems and perspectives of students in high school science."
Dean of the Faculty of History of Zaporizhzhya National Viktor Tkachenko and Dean of the Faculty of History PFC (Rostov-on-Don) Victor Apryschenko noted that this conference marked the beginning of a fruitful cooperation between the two faculties. Such events plan to hold regular, involving not only teachers but also students of both universities.
