XXVII World Summer Universiade this year takes place in Russia (Kazan). Student competition started on July 6 and will last until July 17. Honor to represent Zaporizhzhya universities had 10 students.
Student of Zaporizhzhya National University, world champion in rowing among youth Oleksandr Nadtoka won the silver medal, having overcome final swimming competition in 2,000 meters with Іvan Dovgodko. Outscore them the Lithuanian team, the Russian team became third.
