Athlete of ZNU Sergey Frolov won the bronze medal at the first World Cup of swimming on a short water
Participation in two stages of World Cup on swimming on a short water brought bronze medal to Zaporizhzhya National University student Sergey Frolov.
During the first stage of the World Cup in Eindhoven (Holland) Sergiy competed for medals in three disciplines: at a distance of 400 meters freestyle, in the mixed relay 4х500 and at a distance of 1500 meters. By the way, during the last performance sportsman won a bronze medal, showing the the result of 14:32.91 sec. The victory received an Italian Gregorio Paltrinyeri (14.27,65) and second to the finish came Myles Brown (South Africa) (14.30,54).
During the second stage of the World Cup (Berlin, Germany) Sergiy took fifth place on the 400m freestyle and sixth in the distance of 1500 meters.
