In Zaporizhzhya National University held a public lecture "Combating Cybercrime in the banking sphere"
Today in Zaporizhzhya National University for its students and staff under the project of the Independent Bankers Association and the Association of Ukraine "Dniprovskiy Bank Union" held a public lecture "Combating Cybercrime in the banking sphere." The purpose of a media tour of the cities of Ukraine, arranged by the organizers of the project is to increase financial literacy and public awareness of Ukrainian citizens on major threats of cybercrime and ways to avoid and familiarize students with the main rules of safe handling of financial information.
The meeting began with a greetings of the Dean of the faculty of Economics, professor Alla Cherep. She introduced the honored guests - project managers and employees of financial institutions. Before the present performed the head of the Project Independent Association of Banks of Ukraine "Combating Cybercrime in the banking sphere" Tetyana Samsonjuk, head of sales organization in the corporate channel department "Zaporizhzhya Regional Directorate of JSC "VTB Bank" Dmytro Skotarenko, head of Information Security PJSC "CREDIT AGRICOLE BANK" Olena Kuzmina, head of the block security PJSC "Alfa-Bank" Yuriy Hmelenko and a representative of the Office for Combating Cybercrime Ministry of Internal Affairs of Ukraine Valeriy Parshakov.
Reporters tried to improve the financial literacy users of bank cards. To promote financial stability and protect against Ukrainian cybercrime, experts told the audience about the types of such fraud and methods of protection against it. Observe basic safety rules: do not advertise and do not name anyone your PIN code card, cover keyboard while typing PIN code as from outside, as from the surveillance camera, do not use the cards while paying to doubtful sellers through the Internet, etc.
Great interest to present raised by the report of Yuriy Hmelenko of "Cyber-Corsars". He described the nature of carding (payment card fraud), the work of pyramid schemes and about dubious prospects opening up before anyone, who subjected to the temptation to become carders.
At the end of the event NABU representatives held a final quiz on knowledge of the rules of economic safety - winners received gifts.

Coordinator of the project "Combating Cybercrime" Tetyana Samsonjuk also invited students to take part in the competition information products with safety and optimization of the banking system, virus protection programs. The winners than prizes, will be able to sell their software products.
