During September 9-11 in Zaporizhzhya National University continued to work International School of the future sociologist "Sociological Commonwealth - 2013". This large-scale scientific event for the first time was descended in Zaporizhzhya, in which took part leading Ukrainian universities and representatives of the scientific community in Poland, Russia and Belarus. The work of the School of the future sociologist made possible by its organizers - Sociological Association of Ukraine, Karazin Kharkiv National University, Zaporizhzhya National University and the Youth Sector SAU.
In the previous meetings School of the Future sociologist, held in Kyiv, Kharkiv and other cities of Ukraine participated only teachers. This year, among participants of the school were also students. During the event, held a meeting of the sociological club «Socio-Reality» and a series of master classes from well known Ukrainian sociologists.
Participants of master classes discussed the various important for contemporary social science topics. In particular, during the meetings School researchers highlighted issues such as "Sociology of Sport: history, contemporaneity and prospects", "Economy and labor relations in sociological knowledge", "Sociology virtual space", "Intellectual analysis of data and problems of digital sociology", "Strategic forecasting of political situations and processes" and others. Future specialists during the master classes were able to talk to the founders of their own scientific schools in sociology: Vice President of SAU, a professor of Karazin Kharkov National University Ludmyla Sokuryanska, Dean of sociological faculty of this university, professor Vitaliy Lukashchuk, Professor of the Department of Applied Sociology of Karazin Kharkov National University Larysa Khyzhnyak, Deputy director of the Mechnikov Institute of Social Sciences ONU, associate professor Svitlana Romanenko, Dean of the Faculty of Social Sciences and Administration of ZNU, professor Maksym Lepskiy etc.
As a students as well an experienced professionals able to share experiences and discuss current problems of social science in Ukraine, to express their views on issues related to social work schools and areas of national social science.
An interesting fact on which drew the attention of participants of meetings School of the future sociologist, has become specialization of sociological schools in Ukraine. So, Kharkiv Sociological school, which has a long tradition (founded in 1900s), the main attention is paid to axiological aspect, while Zaporizhzhya school (relatively young) concentrated on the research of strategic prediction of political situations and processes. It was these problems to which dedicated a master class to participants held Zaporizhzhya professor Maksym Lepskiy.
During the meeting of the club Socio-Reality held deans polylogue. Directly involved in the event heads of the faculties - Dean of the Faculty of Social Sciences and Administration of ZNU, professor Maksym Lepskiy, Dean of the Faculty of Social Sciences of Karazin HNU Vitaliy Lukashchuk and Deputy director of the Mechnikov Institute of Social Sciences ONU, associate professor Svitlana Romanenko. Together with other members of the meeting they discussed a number of issues related to the study of the role of sociology in society, the usefulness of social scientists and their employment in the world and in Ukraine as well as anticipation for the development of social science and its future. Participants of the meeting also answered a number of students questions.
Also impressions of the School of the future sociologist, shared assistant of the Faculty of Social Sciences of ZNU Inna Rotareva: «Participation in the work of the School left a memorable communication with renowned scientists, and just with interesting personalities. All master classes were helpful, but I'm most interested in the debate about the existence of scientific schools in Ukraine as well as the historical formation of the Kharkov school of sociology and appearance of digital sociology. An important result of the work of the School was that the organizers gave participants the opportunity to use common developments in teaching. Graduates of the School of the Future sociologist "Sociological Commonwealth - 2013" - 12 students and young teachers, who received certificates signed by SAU President, academician Vil Bakirov and Vice-President of this association Ludmyla Sokuryanska.
