September 19 at the courtroom of the Law Faculty of Zaporizhzhya National University held meeting of round table discussion on "Problems of the relationship of citizens and representatives of the law enforcement system of Ukraine: development of the concept of legal action".
With the opening speech to the the audience addressed Deputy Dean for Educational Work, associate professor Victor Sabadash. He noted that the adoption of the new Criminal Procedure Code provided the incentive for police officers to be more accountable and citizens - more opportunities to realize their rights.
Participate in the meeting also representatives of lawyers. So, barrister Grigoriy Peresypko outlined in the speech situation under which one person has the right to detain another. He spoke about the tools that should use an ordinary citizen in this case. The theme continued barrister of Lawyers Association "Caesar" Iryna Antonets. She told the audience about the reasons that govern the lawful detention and provided valuable advice on how to behave when you are detained by law enforcement officers. 
The discussed topic aroused great interest among the participants of the meeting. In particular, this issue supported by guest lecturers and students, including Department of History and Theory of State and Law, Oleksandr Ganzenko and Head of Student Council of ZNU, Anton Osadchuk.
Substantial and very interesting for the audience was the report of the barrister Yuriy Shulyakov, in which he described the "toss" objects of the criminal nature. Do not gone round attention and specific instances of this problem, which occurred in his legal practice.
Barrister Ruslan Balkovy raised equally relevant topic in his speech, he talked about administrative detention. In his speech he emphasized the differences of this type of criminal detention and explained the features action delayed if such detention is administrative.
Another speaker – barrister Iryna Iliyenko – described in detail "how should behave a person in a room, where a search is conducted". She explained how to distinguish lawful from unlawful search into a dwelling place - which procedure search must be followed.
Theme of corruption in the law enforcement system is no less urgent than the previous themes. On this subject made report barrister Oleksandr Velychko. The report included such directions of the issue, as improving the legal awareness of citizens and law enforcement officers, and for specific advice in case of extortion of bribes. The report sparked heated debate and discussion.
Active part in the discussion was also take the Law faculty studentEvgen Artyomov and Mykhaylo Shevchenko, and student of the Faculty of Journalism, first deputy head of the Student Council of ZNU Olga Lebedeva and student councils heads of other departments of ZNU who attended the event and got a lot of useful information.
At the end of the meeting reported Head of the City Youth Organization "Our native home" Sergiy Atamanchuk. He spoke about the projects of this organization and proposed to establish close cooperation with the center of Zaporizhzhya Students League Lawyers Association of Ukraine. In turn, the Head of Zaporizhzhya Students League Lawyers Association of Ukraine, Ivan Shumeyko expressed willingness to start a new project - training among students of ZNU on "Man and the law enforcement bodies." The next meeting is scheduled for September 24th.
Finally, representatives of Zaporizhzhya center also thanked Dean Law Faculty, members of student government of ZNU and all visitors of the event for concern and support student initiatives, and willingness to cooperate productively in nearest future.
