In Economics and Law College of ZNU celebrated the European Day of Languages

September 25 in Economics and Law College of Zaporizhzhya National University held summarizing week of foreign languages dedicated to the celebration of the European Day of Languages.

Within ten days, the students competed in various competitions, demonstrating their proficiency in English. Thus, in the competition of English among students of 1st year won the first place Mariya Poltavska, among students of 2nd year – Vladyslav Protsenko. During the drawing contest on the theme "My favorite word in a foreign language" was won students of ELC Oksana Kalinina (in nomination «handmade») and Olga Mishevska (in nomination «computer made»).
Also among college students was a contest on wall newspapers "The most interesting facts of European countries", in which won Valeriya Lytvyn and Kateryna Gotfrid. In the contest presentations and mini-movies "Ukraine in Europe" has been recognized the best work of Victoriya Karpova.
In addition, among students held a contest for recitation of poems and singing songs in English. It was won by Yuliya Badlo, which is for participation in a contest written a poem in English. Finally, students demonstrated their proficiency in English during the brain-ring. The victory team was «Moonshine», composed of students of the 3rd year of specialty "Production Organization".
While summarizing of a solemn week of Foreign Languages the host of the event – Head of cyclic commission of foreign languages in ELC Viktoriya Klausnittser - thanked the students for their active participation and good work. The right to hand diplomas and gifts were given to winners of competitions ELC Deputy Director for Educational Work, Inna Kirillova.
We remind that European Day of Languages ​​is celebrated throughout Europe on September 26. Its purpose - improve cross-language and cross-cultural understanding, demonstration of linguistic richness and cultural diversity of European citizens, encouraging European citizens to learn foreign languages ​​in school and throughout life.
