September 26 for 1st and 2nd years students of biological faculty held presentation of scientific and research groups which acting at the faculty. It conducted and presented the activities of the representatives of the Scientific Community of Students and Postgraduates of the Faculty of Biology.
The meeting was opened by Deputy Dean for Research, Kopiyka Vira and Deputy Head of SCSP of biological faculty, Vladyslav Kyrychenko. About work and activities of the groups were presented by SCSP of students-biologists. So, this year at the Faculty of Biology acts 12 research students problem groups from different directions, "Bioorganic Chemistry" (supervisors professors Lyudmyla Omelyanchik and Oleksandr Brazhko),
"Research Immunology and Biotechnology" (professor Oleksandr Frolov, associate professors Evgen Fedotov and Vira Kopiyka), "Human Physiology" (professor Valentyna Bovt, associate professor Nataliya Grygorova) and others.
4th year student Ganna Bila introduced a video presentation and said first-year students about the work of student research problem of "Hunting and environmental features of animals." She noted that the group members have the opportunity to conduct their research at the National Wildlife Refuge on the Khortytsya island and Azov-Syvash National Park (Biruchiy island).
Activity "Young ichthyologists and ichthyoparasitologists" presented student of the correspondence department Eugen Butovytskiy. Also during the meeting was presented the work of other groups - "Modern entomologist", "Studying of human stress and adapting to aquatic and terrestrial organisms," "Water and soil microbiology", etc.
Participants noted that results of research in the framework of the research problem groups can be used to write reports, term papers and other academic papers, articles, reports of conferences and more. In addition students in the work of many clubs involved also experienced researchers, teachers and representatives of various research organizations.
