According to the implementation of the program of the international project "Electronic Library of Ukraine: Creating Knowledge Centers in universities of Ukraine "ELibUkr"", ZNU also it member, now in the Scientific Library of the University held a webinar. This event alone for this year is held for the third time. This time it concerned the test database access Market Research Monitor.
Market Research Monitor – is an electronic online resource developed by Euromonitor International specifically for libraries and information centers, through which users get a complete picture of the consumer market in 80 countries. The resource allows you to set the size and growth of each market, leading delete subcategories, learn about the major players in the market and their brands, using a five-year forecasts to assess the prospects for the development of certain sectors. Features Format : searching reports, presentations, spreadsheets and charts, translated in nine languages (including Russian), the function «Cut your own reports».
In 2013 the structure of the resource has been updated - it now also includes reports that were previously available only in expensive professional resources Passport GMID.
Manager Euromonitor International company Andrus Tuks during the webinar participants informed of the updated database, explained how to use it to minimize the time spent searching for information. After the webinar Andrus Tuks sent to the Research Library of ZNU usage statistics database and a video presentation of the rules on using it.
Director of ZNU Scientific Library Valentyna Gerasymova told the audience that under this program works in Zaporizhzhya and conducts webinars only in our library. She also noted that all visitors can view the database that month will be free to operate in test mode(access through a local network of ZNU (http://library.znu.edu.ua or http://www.elibukr.org). Valentyna Oleksandrivna said that representatives of different departments can get to review a presentation rules of the database, as in the past year has done the teachers of the Faculty of Management and of the Faculty of Economics.
