Today in Scientific Library of ZNU held a meeting and presentation of books of Ukrainian writers and publishers brothers Vitaliy and Dmytro Kapranov.
The event, held in the reading room of Philology, visited by professors and students of the Faculty. The main topic of the meeting was the presentation of the new book of Vitaliy and Dmytro Kapranov "Painted History of Independence of Ukraine".
The authors of the texts and compilers told the audience about the project and the creative team edition, which consisted of six Ukrainian artists and designers. The basis for the creation of actual history books became the materials of well-known scientists - Mykhailo Hrushevskyj, Dmytro Yavornytskyj, Mykola Kostomarov and others - and 
works on the history of Crimea and Ukraine by Tatar historians Useyin Bodaninskyj and Osman Akchokrakly. Vitaliy and Dmytro Kapranov also reported that the book is a kind of attempt to create a meaningful, but small volume essay on the history of Ukraine, in order to prove the existence of state structures and pre-Ukrainian population in these areas, starting from the Neolithic times. The book contains many pictures in the style of comics, portraits of historical figures and geographical maps.
In addition to "Painted History of Ukraine's independence," brothers Kapranovs also brought with them a number of other books, published earlier novels such as "Diary of my secretary", "Philtre" and publishing in Ukrainian-Russian historian Viktor Suvorov opposition "Kuzkina mother" and "Her name was Tatiyana". They also 
reported that currently working on a scenario for a new cartoon on the history of Ukraine.
A pleasant surprise for the participants of the meeting were the songs in the style of "Kobza rap" on poems of contemporary Ukrainian poets, which brothers Vitaliy and Dmytro were sang for the audience. Finally writers answered the questions and left autographs. Dean of the Faculty of Philology Tamara Khomyak in memory of the writers stay in our universities presented them anniversary books "Zaporizhzhya National University".
Staff of the Scientific Library of ZNU also prepared a small exhibition, which presented materials and publications in periodicals about the work and activities of Brothers Kapranov.
